How to make a paper fan

Can I just say.... HOT HOT HEAT!

Deary me what a summer we've had hey? Yes, sunshine is lovely... but am I allowed to say, it got a bit above the comfort zone this year, all over the world.

While trying to make the most of the sunshine, me and the kids also spoke about how to keep are cool and look after ourselves in this weather; wear suncream, drink loads of water, take breaks in the shade... What about fun games to keep cool? Water fights?? Just make sure everyone is involved... :)

Oh yeah, and... make a paper fan!

This was a little tricky for the youngest artists, who needed help with the folding and the taping together. What age can make a fan on their own? I'd say from around 7-8 year olds.

For this project you will need:

2 x A3 papers cut in half. Use three halves. You can also make a smaller fan using A4 paper.

Tape + PVA glue

Water paint / Crayons / or anything else you want to decorate with!

Have fun! :)

Do you have any questions? I'm happy to help!

Don't know what materials to get? Here's some of what we use.

See you in the next video!
